The breakfast spread was delightful, filled with fresh produce and scrumptious options that made me feel like royalty! Also, the enchanting park surrounding the castle was perfect for a leisurely stroll, creating an aura of peace. Lastly, the cozy Double Room provided all the comfort I needed to recharge after exploring the area.
While the overall experience was lovely, the hot water fiasco on our final day was a bit of a bummer. Plus, the early morning staff noise was unexpectedly disruptive for a hotel stay.

The room was cozy and perfect for a good night's sleep, and I loved having a beautiful park nearby where dogs could roam free. I really enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace and taking a stroll around the lovely garden. Just a heads up, the breakfast wasn’t available this time, but it didn’t ruin my experience! 😊

Decent fresh air in the area, allowing for safe sleep with the window open. The large water flow during showers was a surprise, a nice perk to start the day.
Rooms are in dire need of renovation—everything from the furnishings to the bathrooms shows years of wear. The absence of air conditioning makes for a rather uncomfortable stay when temperatures rise, and the beds being made up of two separate spring mattresses is questionable for comfort. The breakfast isn’t worth the hype, with limited choices and no quality to speak of. Toiletries are sparse, just a shower gel, and the thin towels don’t help either. Plus, the connection between rooms feels disconnected and isolated, making for an odd ambiance.

Lovely stay in a castle setting!
The reception staff were super friendly and let us check in early, which was a huge plus. The location is stunning, right in an old estate with easy access to Copenhagen by train. The brunch was a feast—everything from pastries to warm dishes, just delish! Though, I wish the room was a tad bigger.

Perfect for a getaway
I was blown away by the historical charm, having breakfast in a castle setting was surreal! The huge gardens were perfect for a quiet stroll, really felt like I was in a different time.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the experience, still manageable.
